Lavon Exceeds 7,198 Population

Lavon's population in January 2023 exceeded 7,198 residents! The significant growth in new homes has increased the local population during the 2023 year.   Lavon building permit records show that there was 324 new single family permits issued in 2023 and also 113 Elevon Section 1 MUD sewer permits.  NCTCOG 2024 population estimates are expected to be announced in March of 2024.
